The Learning Edge has launched Development Hub in Ikeja.
Training, consulting, and recruiting firm, The Learning Edge has launched a Development Hub in the heart of Ikeja. The hub which will serve as a multipurpose center for business activities was launched on the 10th of September 2019.
According to the Co-founder of The Learning Edge, Kingsley Aigbona, the “Development Hub will serve as the company’s offices, training center, and as an incubation center for businesses.”
Mr. Aigbona said that one of the biggest challenges facing new businesses is “inability to find a nice cost-effective place to pitch their tents.” The beautiful thing about the incubating center is that new businesses can make use of it for free. There is a caveat though. Kingsley says that any business that must operate at the center must meet certain criteria.
“The business must be registered. The founders must submit guarantor forms filled out by credible members of society. They also must not be into any of the businesses we already have on the incubation program. This is to avoid bad competition.”
The Learning Edge Ltd was established in 2010 as a management consulting firm. The company provides business development, outsourcing, research, and advisory services to its clients.
Since its inception, the company has organized training (both open and in-house) that attracts individuals from various industries. The company has facilitated strategy sessions, team building and bonding sessions, and onboarding sessions.
Amongst the training the company has facilitated are Project Management, Negotiating & Persuasion, Conflict Management, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and so on.
The Learning Edge management has stated that more Development Hubs will be established under its Corporate Social Responsibility program. Do you think this is a credible idea? Kindly leave a comment below.
